Residential Cleaning Checklist

Bedrooms:

• Beds made and linens changed
• All areas dusted
• Mirrors cleaned
• Furniture cleaned and polished
• Woodwork, doorframes and switch-plates wiped down
• Vacuum under beds and furniture where accessible
• Trash emptied
• Carpets vacuumed
• Lamp shades wiped down or dusted
• Walls wiped free of dust and spider webs

 
Bathrooms:
 

• Tub thoroughly scrubbed and polished
• Shower enclosures cleaned
• Tiles and chrome cleaned
• Sinks scrubbed and polished
• Toilets scrubbed and polished
• Vanity top/counters cleaned
• Cabinet facings washed
• Trash emptied
• Floor mopped/vacuumed

 

Kitchen:

 

• Microwave and small appliances cleaned
• Countertops and backsplash wiped
• Trash emptied
• Cabinet fronts washed
• Sinks scrubbed and polished
• Outside of all appliances cleaned

• Baseboards and doorframes cleaned
• Light fixtures cleaned
• Floors vacuumed or mopped
• Picture frames and wall hangings dusted
• Cobwebs removed
• Furniture dusted and polished
• Blinds cleaned
• Interior windows and sills cleaned
• Mirrors cleaned
• Air vents dusted
• Ceiling fans dusted and cleaned
• Door tracks cleaned
• Overall appearance of the room left clean and orderly

Disclaimer: Some deeply embedded stains may be non-removable. Sunshine Cleaning Services reserves the right to use their best judgment regarding such stains on a case by case basis. Harsh chemicals or aggressive means of removal cannot be employed as these methods may permanently damage surfaces.
